I am Jan Mulder, an actor shaped by three cultures and guided by one truth, that art is a sacred act of transformation.

Peruvian, Spanish and Dutch,
I carry within me the contrasts of the world: passion and silence, depth and light.
My craft lives at the intersection of emotion and essence, where vulnerability becomes strength, and presence becomes art.

For me, acting is not performance, it is communion. It is a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, between the man I am and the souls I am entrusted to embody.

My craft is rooted in silence, intuition, and a deep connection to human emotion.

Acting as a spiritual practice.
I seek not to perform, but to become. Not to impress, but to awaken.

I don't seek to act; I seek to be. To dissolve the borders between reality and imagination until truth reveals itself.
Every story I tell is a prayer to understanding, a step toward the mystery that defines what it means to be human.

I live to explore that mystery, to feel deeply, to surrender fully.

Every artist has a beginning, a space between what is known and what is yet to be revealed. This is where I stand. I'm building, exploring, discovering. My work so far is just a glimpse, the rest is still unfolding.

I'm currently expanding my portfolio and collaborating with photographers and filmmakers on upcoming projects.

Beyond acting, I am expanding my creative path through Destignation, a film and art production company I am founding, devoted to creating work that explores the human soul, consciousness, and truth through image and sound.

Destignation is not only a company, it's a vision: a space for filmmakers, artists, and thinkers who believe cinema is still sacred.

Through this project, I aim to bring together people who feel, who listen, who create from the deepest place, where art becomes transformation. https://www.destignation.com/

A Work in Progress

For many years, I've been writing what will become the most personal and ambitious work of my life.

This is not simply a book about spirituality, philosophy, or consciousness. It is a long journey into the deepest questions that have accompanied humanity since the beginning of time.. Questions about identity, love, perception, freedom, reality, and the mysterious nature of existence itself.

Rather than offering absolute answers, this work invites the reader to observe. To slow down. To question the assumptions we've inherited about who we are, why we are here, and how we experience the world around us.

Some ideas within these pages require patience. Others require silence. Many have emerged through years of reflection, observation, and an ongoing search for understanding. It is not a book written to persuade, but to encourage a more conscious way of looking at life.

At its heart lies one simple belief:

The greatest transformation does not happen when we acquire more knowledge, but when we begin to observe reality through a different level of awareness.

This is not a book designed to be consumed quickly. It is a work intended to be revisited over time, allowing each chapter to reveal new meanings as the reader continues their own journey.

Writing it is not a race. It is a lifelong commitment.

I don't know how many years it will take before the final page is written, because some ideas cannot be rushed. They must mature naturally, through experience, contemplation, and life itself.

If this work ultimately has a purpose, it is not to tell anyone what truth is.

It is simply to invite each reader to discover it for themselves.
